Honorary Consul of Portugal in Istanbul Aaron Nommaz’s second book “Jewish Spy Josef Nasi” hits the shelves.
Nommaz’s first book was about Dona Gracia, who was one of the wealthiest women in the world in the 16th century. The novel that hit the shelves last year, depicted Gracia’s transformation into a powerful figure who shaped politics and international relations. Aaron Nommaz’s thorough researches and serene narration style made the book one of the rare literary works in history. Nommaz’s second book, “Jewish Spy Josef Nasi” focuses on the life story of Josef Nasi, one of Dona Gracia’s nephews who embraced his aunt’s purpose and followed her path in the Ottoman Empire.
